The way we produce and deliver our clients’ projects has a significant impact on the climate and our environment. Our society has contributed to climate change and environmental degradation, primarily through the use of fossil fuels. At Byrå 52, we are committed to continuously improving our environmental performance and preventing pollution, in order to operate in an environmentally sustainable way. We comply with all laws and requirements placed upon us and strive to be a role model in environmental work by reducing the negative impact of our operations.
Our largest environmental impact comes through the projects we deliver for our clients. It is therefore our responsibility to inspire and support them in considering the environment in every aspect of a project. We aim to influence our clients to make sustainable choices in the following areas:

- Print Materials
- Decoration
- Food and Beverage
To help our clients make sustainable choices, we place high demands on the sustainability policies of our suppliers. Where possible, we offer:
- Green Transport: Options for travel and transportation with minimal carbon emissions.
- Waste Reduction and Recycling: Use reusable materials, minimize single-use plastics, sort and recycle event waste, and minimize new production of decorations by instead reusing materials.
- Digitalization: Reduce paper use by digitizing communication and event documentation. Use digital tickets instead of physical ones.
- Local Food and Beverage: Promote the use of local and organic products to reduce transport distances and support local producers. Plant-based alternatives should always be available.
- Promote Sustainable Suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers who follow sustainability principles and offer eco-friendly alternatives for the products and services used.
Today there are several methods that simplify working with sustainable events while maintaining quality. Our project managers are trained in these methods and aim to inspire and support our clients in making the necessary changes to work more sustainably. This may include suggesting sustainability certification for clients’ events via greentime.se/certifiering-evenemang.
In parts of our operations not directly connected to client projects, we as staff can:
- Choose sustainable travel options
- Recycle waste
- Limit electricity consumption to what is necessary
- Donate part of profits to charities focused on climate action
- Reward employees with experiences instead of material goods
By implementing these measures, we can create a more sustainable business and actively contribute to protecting the environment. At the same time, we will meet and exceed our clients’ expectations and values regarding sustainability.
